The Rice Village Farmers Market operates in Rice Village District every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. It is a rain or shine market created by The Informal Grub to encourage our community to interact with local producers and learn where their food is coming from. Rice Village Progress Update
Over the last several years, Rice has made improvements in the Rice Village area that have increased public open space and walkability. Though the pandemic created significant challenges for retailers, Rice Village has remained an attractive location for local, national and artisan retailers. Rice Real Estate Company is now leading a comprehensive site assessment for its holdings in Rice Village to examine both near-term and long-term opportunities for improvements.
